Havana, Jan 29 (RHC).- The official inauguration of the International Pedagogy Congress 2007, takes place Monday afternoon in Havana's Karl Marx Theater.

Participating in the biannual conference are more than 4,400 foreign specialists from 30 countries in Latin America, Asia, Oceania and North America, and 1,300 Cuban delegates.

Latin American and Universal thought and its contribution to achieving quality education for all in the context of South South cooperation, is the main theme to be discussed at the international congress.

Representatives from UNICEF, UNESCO, the Latin American and Caribbean
Educators Association and the Andres Bello Convention, will participate
in the congress' 13th edition.

The International Pedagogy Congress runs through February 2nd in Havana's International Convention Center.
