Cuba Forum Focuses on Miracle Mission and Economy

Havana, Feb 9 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban medical cooperation program abroad and a panorama of the national economy lead the sessions of the Ninth International Economists Meeting on Globalization and Development Problems, concluding in this capital Friday.

Cuban Economy and Planning Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez is in charge of the conference on the island's economic panorama.

Other important moment corresponds to the Venezuelan ambassador to Cuba Ali Rodriguez, who is a known expert announced to talk about energy integration in the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas.

Thursday's debates include papers on international cooperation and development, energy and development, and guidelines of development in the Caribbean area.

The forum is attended by 1,500 academics, economists, philosophers and social scientists from 55 nations, as well as representatives from 27 worldwide and regional organizations and institutions.
