Buenos Aires, Feb 6 (Prensa Latina) Argentinian Santa Fe province Governor Horge Obeid stated on Tuesday that promoting the local culture and seek technological complementation to produce bio-fuels are included in the objectives of his visit to Cuba.

In statements to the press before leaving for Havana, heading a delegation to participate in the 16th International Book Fair, Obeid said the main objective of the trip is the work he will develop in the framework of that cultural event.

The fair, with Argentina as the guest country this year, is "one of the most advertised and important in the world", the Argentinian governor commented.

He ratified that although his country will have extensive participation, Santa Fe will present its own specially-designed stand, because it is a replica at a one-to-one scale, of the house where heroic guerrilla fighter Ernesto Guevara was born, in the city of Rosario.

The other important issue on his agenda, said Obeid, is to hold talks with Cuban top officials and experts, about alcohol industry and the sugar cane production in Santa Fe.

Santa Fe's governor revealed that there have been talks in this reference with Cuban authorities since some time ago, because Cuba has great experience, for being "one of the main sugar producers in the world".
